This was an unusual brief and a little tricky to fulfill as it was all back to front! Alison and her fiancée first visited me to commission wedding rings. You can see these in the bespoke wedding ring gallery. They had decided not to have engagement rings, but wanted wedding rings that would compliment each other and have a sprinkling of gemstones. When discussing Alison's ring it became clear that she is quite the fan of diamonds and more is more, so her wedding ring had more than a sprinkling.

After the wedding she decided that she really would like an engagement ring as well. I'd designed the wedding ring as a stand alone ring and it was quite wide, so making something to go with it was a challenge. We looked at several options and Alison went for a chunky Art Deco style. She was a little nervous about the design as on it's own it looks quite different to the wedding ring, but as soon as she tried them on together she was blown away and so happy with how they compliment each other.
