Claire studied at Edinburgh College of Art for three years, gaining a BA (hons) in Design, specialising in Jewellery and Glass. In October 1996 she established her workshop in Birmingham's historic 'Jewellery Quarter'. Her work was immediately popular with people of all ages and she now sells through over 30 galleries and specialist jewellery shops throughout the UK. Please see the 'Events' section to find your nearest stockist. In September 2005 she re-located to Chester to be closer to family.
In 2004 Claire won an award for her beautiful platinum design for a delicate necklace inspired by the seeds of the dandelion clock floating away in the wind. She has also been commended by the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths for her designs and been invited to 10 Downing Street to meet the Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie at a drinks reception. This evening was hosted to congratulate the finalists of a competition to design gifts to be given to the delegates attending the G8 summit. Claire produced unusual gold cufflinks. Her designs are admired by a growing number of people and the actress Samantha Bond (Miss Moneypenny) was seen wearing her earrings in a BBC drama in 2005.
